What if the new appliance doesn't fit?
Send the model number, manufacturer specifications, and photos before you buy. We can often adjust cabinet openings, trim, and compatible ventilation within scope. Utility relocations or other work requiring a separately licensed trade professional are identified and referred before installation.
Do you do gas appliance hookups?
Send the exact appliance model and clear photos of the existing connection. We'll confirm whether the installation is covered by El's T.R.A.I.L. credential and whether the existing connection is compatible. Gas-line changes and any work requiring a separately licensed plumber are referred appropriately.
Will you haul away the old appliance?
Yes, for a small disposal fee. Most appliances we can take to the local recycling/scrap yard. Some retailers (Home Depot, Lowe's) offer free haul-away with delivery — if you got that, we just disconnect and set the old unit aside for them.
Should I schedule install before or after delivery?
Schedule us a day or two AFTER delivery. That way the appliance is on-site, fully accounted for, and you've inspected for shipping damage. If we book before, we sometimes show up to a missing part, wrong color, or a delayed truck — and that's wasted time for everyone.
Do you install appliances I bought online?
Yes — Amazon, AJ Madison, manufacturer direct, all major appliance retailers. As long as it arrived complete (manual, install kit, mounting hardware), we install. If something's missing, we'll tell you what to order before we start.
How long does an appliance install take?
Standard same-spec replacements: 1–2 hours per appliance. Wall oven, microwave with venting, or dishwasher: 2–3 hours. In-scope cabinet or ventilation adjustments may take a half day or more. We give you a real time estimate before we start and identify separately licensed work before scheduling.
Do you connect to water/ice maker lines?
We connect compatible manufacturer-specified refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer components to suitable existing hookups within our covered scope. New water lines, relocated connections, and separately licensed plumbing work are referred to a licensed plumber.
What's the warranty on the install?
If it fails because of how we installed it, we come back and fix it free. The appliance itself is covered by its manufacturer warranty. We follow the applicable manufacturer installation instructions for the work within our confirmed scope.
